The Radeon R5 340X OEM launched on May 5th, 2015. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Oland graphics processor, The processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm² and 950 million transistors. It features 384 shading units, 24 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs. This card has paired 2,048 MB DDR3 memory with the Radeon R5 340X OEM, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 900 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz. Being a single-slot card, the AMD Radeon R5 340X OEM does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 65 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x DisplayPort. Radeon R5 340X OEM is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x8 interface. The card measures 145 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution. This card is an entry level performance card, for light gaming only, not for hare core gaming, but it is a very good GPU for normal usage, like surfing internet, watching youtube, doing daily office work etc.
